In domestic cricket, Lauren Down plays for the Auckland Hearts and the Takapuna District Cricket club.
She made her WODI debut for New Zealand against West Indies in 2018.
Following a string of ordinary performances in international cricket after her debut, Down made an impressive comeback in domestic cricket during the 2019/20 season, scoring 205 runs for Auckland at a strike rate of 112.63.
She was recently included in New Zealand's squad for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2020.
