Player Story

Max Bryant is an aggressive batter who knows how to find the boundary and can change a game in a matter of overs. 

After representing Australia and Queensland at Under-19 level as well as the Cricket Australia XI in the domestic one-day competition, Bryant burst onto the scene as a 19-year-old in BBL|08, cementing his place as Brisbane Heat's opener.

The highlight of his maiden Big Bash season was his unbeaten 158-run opening partnership with Ben Cutting, where the pair chased down Melbourne Stars' total in only 10 overs. 

Up to the end of KFC BBL|13, Bryant's 1258 runs for the Heat ranks him in third spot all-time, behind only Chris Lynn and Jimmy Peirson. 

Bryant has become a regular for Queensland in the Marsh One-Day Cup, playing every match of the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons, while also adding eight Sheffield Shield matches to his tally in that time.
