Bio

Nic Bills will be keen to add to the two matches he played for the NSW Blues and Sydney Thunder in 2011/12.

The 21 year old from Sydney’s northern suburbs has featured prominently in the Futures League, picking up plenty of wickets in the under-23 competition.

The right-arm quick made his First-class debut in 2011 against the Warriors at the SCG.

Bowling first change, Bills removed Marcus Harris and Nathan Coulter-Nile in an impressive spell that saw him finish with 2/93 from 26 overs.

Bills tormented the Warriors’ under-23 side with figures of 4/50 in a rain affected match later that year.

Economical showings in the Futures League saw Bills promoted to the Sydney Thunder side for the clash with the Brisbane Heat.

It too him just four deliveries to strike, as he removed the dangerous Brendon McCullum for just six. He later got rid of Andrew Robinson to cap off a memorable debut.

Bills has continued to show plenty of promise in the 2nd XI side, claiming 4/29 against Tasmania, as well as a handy 3/25 against the Bulls.
