Sohail Khan last played a one-day international for Pakistan in 2011 prior to his selection in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2014 squad.

The fast bowler’s five ODI appearances came between 2008 and 2011, and included a best performance of 3-30 against Bangladesh in 2008.

Khan was picked for the World Cup after impressive performances on the domestic circuit, including ten wickets in two List A games.
