The ICC has announced its Test and ODI Teams of the Year.
Aussies named in ICC teams of the year
The LG ICC Awards recognise the best international players over the period from August 7, 2012 to August 25, 2013.
Aussies Michael Clarke and the now-retired Mike Hussey were named in the XI. Clarke has also been short-listed - along with England's James Anderson and South Africa's Hashim Amla - for both the ICC Cricketer Of The Year and Test Player Of The Year awards.
These three men, alongside England captain Alastair Cook, India captain MS Dhoni and Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara, are the nominees in the running to receive the prestigious Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for the Cricketer Of The Year Award and are joined by Dale Steyn of South Africa and the Indian duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Cheteshwar Pujara on the short-list for the Test Player Of The Year gong.
These two awards will be announced later in December.
Four countries are represented in the 12-man Test line-up, and South Africa's Steyn earned a place in the ICC Test Team of the Year for the sixth successive year.
It is the fourth year in a row for South Africa's Hashim Amla, while England captain Cook, who is named as the captain, appears in the side for the third straight year.
The ICC Test Team of the Year is (in batting order):
- Alastair Cook (England, captain)

Seven countries are represented in the 12-man ODI line-up and only one player – Dhoni – finds a place in the side for the sixth consecutive year.
Aussie Mitch Starc was named in the side after a great year.
The ICC Champions Trophy 2013-winning captain has also been named as the captain, and will lead the side that also includes Sangakkara and Lasith Malinga of Sri Lanka, who were members of the ICC ODI Team of the Year 2012.

Indian legend Anil Kumble was Chairman Of Selectors, and was joined on the panel by former Pakistan fast bowler and captain Waqar Younis, former England captain and wicketkeeper Alec Stewart, former South Africa batsman and current Hall of Famer Graeme Pollock, and former New Zealand women's player Catherine Campbell.
Statistics were available as a guide but were not necessarily the overwhelming factor in the choices made.
Meanwhile, India captain MS Dhoni has won this year's LG People's Choice Award. He now becomes only the third cricketer to win this coveted prize after Sachin Tendulkar, who was the first-ever recipient in 2010, and Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara, who won it in 2011 and 2012.
