Fundraiser to help sufferers of neuroblastoma
Haddins run for a cause
'Team Mia' took to the picturesque Sydney running course this morning for the 'Run 2 Cure Neuroblastoma' fundraiser.
Mia, daughter of Australia wicketkeeper-batsman Brad Haddin and his wife Karina, is one of many toddlers bravely fighting the number one form of cancer death in children under five.
Writing on the charity's website, Karina Haddin said: "I have decided to make a difference by creating my very own fundraising appeal for neuroblastoma childhood cancer.
"Neuroblastoma claims more lives of toddlers and babies than any other cancer – survival rates can be changed with more research.
"The children affected by neuroblastoma are on average just two years old.
"They are too little to talk for themselves. They are too precious to lose.
"One in two children diagnosed this year will not be alive in five years’ time."

Speaking last December, Brad Haddin said Mia's circumstance put his cricket career very much into perspective.
"It showed me it was just a game," said Haddin, who was in the West Indies when Mia was diagnosed, and flew home immediately.
Karina Haddin told cricket.com.au that the day was an absolute success.
"It was an amazing day," she said. "Team 'Mia Haddin' raised $30,000 and overall the total raised for neuroblastoma research was $220,000.
"Brad and I ran the 5km and we walked the 1km with the kids in their superhero outfits."
