World Cup pool groups locked in
Scotland have defeated the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 41 runs in the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier to join hosts Australia and New Zealand in Pool A of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
Australia, currently ranked No.1 in ODIs, will take on Scotland in their final pool match at Blundstone Arena on March 14, 2015. It will be the third time the teams have faced off in the World Cup (1999, 2007).
As a finalist, UAE secure a berth in Pool B of the tournament and will take on Ireland and India in their Australian fixtures. It will be just their second appearance at the World Cup, having played in the 1996 edition.
