Fox Sports signs on for Zim tour
Australia's one-day international series against South Africa and Zimbabwe will be broadcast on Fox Sports for Australian subscribers.
The broadcast coverage – available in high definition – will complement cricket.com.au's extensive editorial coverage that will include exclusive behind-the-scenes access provided by our editorial team touring with the Australian team.
Australia will play four matches, with a potential final, all at the Harare Sports Club in the Zimbabwean capital from August 25.
Cricket fans who don’t subscribe to Fox Sports will be able to follow the action on cricket.com.au with live scores and blogs, with reports, news, features and video highlights all available online.
Cricket.com.au will also be live streaming the Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars' International Series against both West Indies and Pakistan, with cricket.com.au staff travelling with th team providing an unprecedented level of coverage for women's cricket.
Fox Sports' broadcast deal does not include South Africa's Test and ODI series against Zimbabwe that precedes Australia's arrival for their first tour of the African nation in a decade.
Fox Sports, which is showing the ongoing England v India series, confirmed it also has rights to India v West Indies, New Zealand v Sri Lanka, South Africa v West Indies, England v New Zealand and the ICC Cricket World Cup.
Free-to-air broadcaster Channel 9 will show all Australian matches during the Cricket World Cup plus the knock-out stages.
There is currently no signed agreement to broadcast Australia's tour of the UAE to play Pakistan, but it is understood a number of Australian broadcasters have made enquiries about securing the rights.
