Ryan Burl takes to Twitter to thank hospital staff after health scare
Zimbabwe player hospitalised in SL
Zimbabwe cricketer Ryan Burl has been hit by a health scare after he spent the night in a Sri Lankan hospital due to an allergic reaction to fish.
The news was revealed - along with a photo - by Zimbabwe Cricket’s official Twitter account midway through the third ODI against Sri Lanka in Hambantota on Thursday.

The tourists made two changes for the clash, with Tarisai Musakanda and Carl Mumba replacing Donald Tiripano and Burl.
Burl took to Twitter to thank the hospital staff following his ‘terribly frightening experience’.

It wasn't long though until the 23-year-old turned his attention back to the cricket with the two nations locked at 1-1 in the five-match series.
“So good to hear after being discharged from the hospital that the boys put 310 runs on the board against Sri Lanka,” he tweeted.
Burl recently made headlines when he found himself at the centre of a catching controversy in a 50-over clash against Netherlands late last month.

Dutch opener Stephan Myburg had been in punishing touch in the second match in Amsterdam, and had raced to 77 from 70 balls in a 143-run opening stand before lofting a Graeme Cremer delivery towards long-on, where Burl juggled the ball before throwing it up to himself to safely pouch the catch.
However, photographs taken by CricketEurope photographer Sander Tholen clearly showed Burl with his feet over the rope, and seemingly with a clear view of his out-of-bounds position before claiming the catch.

Netherlands captain Peter Borren accepted the apology.
"Appreciate this. Here is to another good contest tomorrow," he wrote in reply.
