Jofra's remarkable past tweets predict semi-final

While bowling for England in the World Cup semi-final, a series of tweets from Jofra Archer's past surfaced on social media

Jofra Archer has already announced himself as one of the breakout stars of the World Cup.

It turns out his ability to look into – and tweet - the future,  is just as impressive as his bowling.

As Archer took the field against Australia for a place in the World Cup final at Edgbaston, some of his prophecies from years ago began to surface on social media.

And it was... creepy.

Apparently it was a good toss to win and bat first, but Archer liked what he saw in the Edgbaston pitch…

Chris Woakes took the new ball for England, with a nation riding on every ball.

The very next over, with ball in hand, Archer dismissed Aaron Finch with his first delivery. Unlucky for the Australian captain indeed.

When Woakes got the wicket of David Warner, Australia were in all sorts of trouble at 2-10. But Archer had warned us of this already...

Steve Smith steadied the ship for Australia, looking impressive with bat in hand.

In his fourth over, an Archer short ball cannoned into Alex Carey’s helmet…

Painful yes, but don’t say Jofra didn’t warn you.

And then when the England quick returned for a second spell, he picked up the valuable wicket of Glenn Maxwell.
