Left-arm medium-fast bowler, Nicole Goodwin has returned to competitive cricket after a prolonged break away from the game to pursue career opportunities.
She last played in the WNCL in 2011 and won several championships with the NSW Breakers, but lined up for the ACT Meteors in 2015-16 where her vast experience was helpful for the young Meteors side.
Originally from Denman in the upper Hunter region of New South Wales, Goodwin began playing the game at eight years of age, playing with her brother in the backyard.
She played in the local junior boys team until her late teenage years before making a move to Sydney to play in the Women’s grade competition.
In addition to providing a bowling option, Goodwin is an accomplished lower-order batter.
