Player Story
Shangase made the KZN girls’ under-19 side in 2013 and later made her way into the senior side two years later, also taking up captaincy duties. While playing for the same side in early 2018, the batting allrounder posted an unbeaten ton, also carrying her bat through the entire innings.
She made her T20I debut against Pakistan in May 2019. Less than half a year later, she registered figures of 0.3-0-0-2 in her side's 105-run win over India.
She was included in South Africa's squad for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2020.
