After graduating from the Zimbabwe Cricket Academy, Vusi Sibanda made his one-day international debut for his country against West Indies in 2003.
The opening batsman made an immediate impact on the game, scoring 58 runs from 99 balls.
Sibanda has added more than 100 ODI caps to his name since, amassing more than 2800 runs and scored two centuries through his career to date.
A highlight for the batsman came in the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, when, after initially being left out of the squad, Sibanda was recalled to the side and score 61 off 57 balls against Kenya.
His innings, which included seven fours, helped Zimbabwe to a 161-run victory.
He was also part of the 2007 World Cup squad – his top performance at that tournament was 67 scored against Ireland.
An occasional medium pace bowler, Sibanda has taken three ODI wickets, while he has also played 14 Test matches for Zimbabwe since making his debut in the longer form of the game in 2003.
