Australia continue its ODI winning streak to 18
Remember when: Harvey's haul
Known as 'the freak', Ian Harvey proved just that at Sabina Park in 2003 with an all-round display that rescued Australia to record a 2-run Duckworth-Lewis win and keep Australia's One-Day international unbeaten streak alive.
Harvey smashed 48 off 30 balls, combining with Michael Bevan to add 87 from the final 62 balls to post 5-270 from 50 overs.
The West Indies were in great shape at 2-114, but the heavens opened and washed away their momentum, revising the target to 208 from 37 overs.
With a mix of cutters, yorkers and slower balls, Harvey took three wickets in as many overs, including the prize scalp of captain Brian Lara for 23 to effectively end the run chase.
The final margin of victory flattered the Windies. The hosts required 16 from the last over and seven from Brett Lee's final ball.
Incredibly, Harvey failed to win the man of the match award, instead a fine knock of 59 from 87 balls earned Ricky Ponting the title.
The match was the first ODI after Australia wrapped up its second straight ICC Cricket World Cup win, and with the unbeaten streak already six past the previous mark, all that was left was to keep winning.
