National Premier T20 finalists decided

Western Australia the final state to hold Premier T20 finals to confirm all 10 teams that will contest the national finals early next month

Qualifying is complete and the 10 clubs that will battle it out in the inaugural Fox Cricket National Premier Twenty20 competition in Adelaide have been decided.

The final three spots were decided around the country over the past fortnight, with state final winners in Tasmania, Queensland and Western Australia filling the remaining berths.

In Tasmania it was the North Hobart Cricket Club that progressed to next month's tournament following their eight-wicket triumph over Lindisfarne.

Hobart Hurricanes duo Jake Doran and Caleb Jewell both scored half centuries in the victory, while Sydney Sixers batsman Jordan Silk chipped in with a cameo of 17 and was at the crease when the winning runs were hit.

The University of Queensland also booked their place in the T20 showcase, with an eight-wicket win over Valleys at AB Field.

The University side were well served by Michael Philipson who contributed a half-century, while Dominic Michael scored an unbeaten 33 and picked up three valuable wickets.

The last of the state finals was held in Perth on Sunday, with Melville defeating Subiaco Floreat at the WACA Ground to snatch the 10th and final qualifying spot.

A stylish 66 from Cameron Green allowed Subiaco Floreat to post a competitive total of 7-141, but Fraser Hay hit an unbeaten half-century to ensure Melville prevailed with 18 balls remaining (the winning moment is pictured above).

That means all 10 sides that will playoff in the national T20 championships at the Karen Rolton Oval precinct in Adelaide next month have now been confirmed.

Previously Steve Smith's Sutherland and Sydney University had qualified from New South Wales, alongside Dandenong and Carlton (Victoria), Tuggeranong Valley (ACT), East Torrens (South Australia) and the City Cyclones from the NT Strike League.

A live draw for the event is scheduled for Monday March 4, with two days of action to follow on Tuesday March 5 and Wednesday March 6.
