Jess Cameron debuted for Australia at 19 – just prior to the 2009 ICC Women’s World Cup in Sydney and went on to make a name for herself at big international events as part of the 2010, 2012 and 2014 ICC World Twenty20-winning sides as well as the champion 2013 ICC Women’s World Cup team.
In the 2012 World T20 final Cameron hit an impressive 45 off 33 balls, to earn Player of the Match honours and, in 2013,made history as the only male or female player to win the Player of the Final award in both a 20-over and 50-over World Cup following her near-run-a-ball 75.
In her first Test Match against England in 2011, she helped the Australia re-claim the Ashes, a victory she lists among her career highlights to date.
Her dominance at international level was recognised following the 2012-13 season when she claimed the Belinda Clark Award for the best international Australian women’s player that season.
Duffin walked away from international cricket in 2015 and after taking a season off in 2015-16, returned to sign with Victoria and Melbourne Stars.
After taking up AFLW, Duffin opted to focus only on the WBBL, moving to the Renegades while juggling playing duties with Collingwood and then North Melbourne.
Duffin took a season off in WBBL|08 during her first and final AFLW season with Hawthorn, and came back to the 'Gades for a farewell season in WBBL|09 before packing away her kit bag for good.
