Anamul Haque’s success in the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2012 was a sign of the success to come for the talented batsman.
Anamul finished the tournament as the highest run scorer, averaging more than 60 and scoring consecutive centuries against Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
Those performances led to his one-day international debut against West Indies in late 2012. Anamul made an instant impact on the ODI circuit, scoring 41 in his first match followed by 120 in his second.
His first 25 ODI matches featured three centuries and three fifties, including scores of 95 and 80 against Zimbabwe in the lead-up to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
The batsman also has four test match caps to his name.
