Full squads: How each club's list is shaping up for WBBL|11

Keep up to date with all the off-season player movement as the eight clubs turn their attention to WBBL|11

Strikers | Heat | Hurricanes | Renegades | Stars | Scorchers | Sixers | Thunder

After the Melbourne Renegades lifted the WBBL trophy for the first time in December, the league's list managers are now busy plotting how their clubs will shape up for next season.

The inaugural Player Movement Window has been and gone with three players finding a new home for WBBL|11 during the 10-day period, and the contracting embargo has lifted, with clubs now able to sign further domestic players to their list for next season.

The Draft has also been held, with some big calls made.

Here is where each team's list stands - publicly, at least, given some teams may have re-signed players but have yet to make an announcement.

Adelaide Strikers

WBBL|10 result: Seventh (3 wins, 6 losses, 1 no result)

Coach: Luke Williams

Spots filled on contract list: 15 out of 15

Contracted for WBBL|11: Jemma Barsby (W|11), Tammy Beaumont (W|11), Darcie Brown (W|11), Sophie Ecclestone (W|11), Ellie Johnston (W|12), Eleanor Larosa (W|12), Anesu Mushangwe (W|11), Tahlia McGrath (c) (W|12), Bridget Patterson (W|12), Maddie Penna (W|11), Megan Schutt (W|11), Tabatha Saville (W|11), Amanda-Jade Wellington (W|11), Ella Wilson (W|11), Laura Wolvaardt (W|12)

In: Sophie Ecclestone (Sixers), Tammy Beaumont Out: Katie Mack (Scorchers), Smriti Mandhana, Orla Prendergast

Off contract: Maggie Clark

WBBL|11 Draft selections: Sophie Ecclestone (England), Tammy Beaumont (England), Laura Wolvaardt (South Africa, pre-signing)

The Strikers had pick No.2 at the draft and to their delight, Sophie Ecclestone was available after being overlooked by the Sixers with pick one. The English left-arm spinner will complement the Strikers' two leggies, and had firepower to the lower order.

They are set for change at the top of the order following Katie Mack's departure to the Scorchers, while their big-name import from WBBL|10, India opener Smriti Mandhana, did not nominate for this season's draft. To address that gap, the Strikers picked up experienced England opener Tammy Beaumont in the final round of the draft, and she's likely to partner South African Laura Wolvaardt at the top of the order.

Jemma Barsby has signed a new one-year contract, while young guns Ellie Johnston and Eleanor Larosa have been handed a two-year enxtension.

Tabatha Saville will return to the Strikers camp after seven years, during which she played a couple of seasons for the Hurricanes after a lengthy break from cricket.

Brisbane Heat

WBBL|10 result: Runner up (second)

Coach: Mark Sorell

Spots filled on contract list: 15 out of 15

Contracted for WBBL|11: Lily Bassingthwaighte (W|13), Bonnie Berry (W|11), Lucy Bourke (W|11), Nadine de Klerk (W|11), Sianna Ginger (W|11), Lucy Hamilton (W|11), Nicola Hancock (W|11), Grace Harris (W|11), Chinelle Henry (W|11), Jess Jonassen (W|12), Charli Knott (W|11), Annie O'Neil (W|11), Georgia Redmayne (W|13), Jemimah Rodrigues (W|11), Mikayla Wrigley (W|11)

Ins: Chinelle Henry Outs: Laura Harris (Thunder), Shikha Pandey, Lauren Winfield-Hill

WBBL|11 Draft selections: Jemimah Rodrigues (India), Chinelle Henry (West Indies), Nadine de Klerk (South Africa, pre-signing)

The Heat had filled their eight spots heading into the Player Movement Period, with two notable names remaining off contract: captain Jess Jonassen and big-hitter Laura Harris.

The Thunder duly swooped in and signed Harris, luring her away from the Heat after 10 years in teal, and leaving the Brisbane club needing to find a new middle-order power hitter.

But the Brisbane club was quick to re-sign Jonassen after the league's contracting embargo lifted in March, securing the Big Bash's most prolific bowler of all-time for another two seasons.

At the draft, they retained Jemimah Rodrigues and handed West Indian pace-bowling allrounder Chinelle Henry her first shot in the WBBL. Henry impressed in the WPL earlier this year, finishing with a strike rate of 196.38 and she'll add depth to the bowling attack while her powerful hitting helps address the huge loss of Laura Harris.

Annie O'Neil was a late addition to squad just a day before the competition's season opener against the Melbourne Renegades, signing as a Local Replacement Player in place of Grace Parsons (medical reasons).

WBBL|11 Draft selections: Natalie Sciver-Brunt (England, pre-signing), Danni Wyatt-Hodge (England), Linsey Smith (England)

The Hurricanes have pulled off the biggest signing of the off-season, securing England captain Natalie Sciver-Brunt as their pre-signing for WBBL|11. At the draft, they added left-arm spinner Linsey Smith, who will add depth to their spin attack, while they retained opening batter Danni Wyatt-Hodge.

The 'Canes had an extra overseas spot available for this season, after Lizelle Lee became an Australian permanent resident during the off-season season and re-signed a fresh two-year deal as a local player.

Melbourne Renegades

WBBL|10 result: Champions (first)

Coach: Simon Helmot

Spots filled on contract list: 15 out of 15

Contracted for WBBL|11: Charis Bekker (W|11), Alice Capsey (W|11), Sarah Coyte (W|11), Emma de Broughe (W|11), Deandra Dottin (W|11), Nicole Faltum (W|12), Tess Flintoff (W|12), Milly Illingworth (W|11), Sara Kennedy (W|11), Sophie Molineux (W|12), Davina Perrin (W|11), Naomi Stalenberg (W|11), Tayla Vlaeminck (W|11), Georgia Wareham (W|12), Courtney Webb (W|12), Issy Wong (W|11)

Ins: Tess Flintoff (Stars), Outs: Ella Hayward, Georgia Prestwidge (both Stars), Hayley Matthews (injury), Linsey Smith (Hurricanes)

Off contract: Josie Dooley, Tara Norris (USA/associate rookie)

WBBL|11 Draft selections: Deandra Dottin (West Indies), Alice Capsey (England)

The reigning champions were dealt a major blow on the eve of the draft when their pre-signing Hayley Matthews withdrew from WBBL|11 due to impending shoulder surgery that will render her unavailable for the tournament.

That meant the club made just two selections at the Draft, retaining both Deandra Dottin and Alice Capsey from last season's champion side. They will fill their final overseas slot closer to the start of the season, keeping their options open for now.

They have poached exciting young allrounder Tess Flintoff from the Melbourne Stars, while West Indies superstar Hayley Matthews has signed a new two-year contract despite her injury.

Ella Hayward and Georgia Prestwidge have departed, in a one-way trade to the Stars. Tayla Vlaeminck will miss the entirety of the season as she manages a shoulder injury.

England internationals Davina Perrin (international replacement player for Hayley Matthews) and Issy Wong have come into the squad, joining Deandra Dottin and Alice Capsey as overseas players. While the Renegades have four overseas players on their books, only three can be named in a matchday squad of 13 or picked in a playing XI.

Ins: Dani Gibson, Amy Jones (Scorchers), Ella Hayward, Georgia Prestwidge (both Renegades) Outs: Tess Flintoff (Renegades), Hasrat Gill (Thunder), Yastika Bhatia, Deepti Sharma

Off contract: Liv Henry

WBBL|11 Draft selections: Amy Jones (England), Dani Gibson (England), Marizanne Kapp (South Africa, pre-signing)

The Stars have just one spot left to fill on their list for WBBL|11 as they seek success under new head coach Andrew Christie, after finishing on the bottom of the table last season.

Experienced England keeper-batter Amy Jones was snapped up in the draft to add star power to the Stars' top-order while she'll also take the gloves, and England allrounder Dani Gibson will be a handy addition to the middle-order and with the ball.

They have added some depth with the signings of spin-bowling allrounder Ella Hayward and experienced pace bowler Georgia Prestwidge, who were traded across from Melbourne Renegades.

Perth Scorchers

Off contract: Stella Campbell, Piepa Cleary, Carly Leeson, Ni Made Putri Suwandewi (Indonesia/associate rookie)

WBBL|11 Draft selections: Sophie Devine (New Zealand, pre-signing), Paige Scholfield (England), Chloe Tryon (South Africa)

The Scorchers have pulled off one of the local signings of the off-season, luring Katie Mack away from the Strikers. The opener will join Beth Mooney at the top of the order in a welcome boost to the club's batting stocks, after a series of dramatic batting collapses cost them a shot at finals last summer.

At the draft, the Scorchers continued to look to address their batting issues, recruiting England batter Paige Scholfield, who has played a handful of games for her country, alongside experienced South Africa allrounder Chloe Tryon, who is a damaging middle-order batter and left-arm spinner. Due to national commitments, Tryon was replaced on the list by England allrounder Freya Kemp.

Their three biggest international stars plus the exciting Chloe Ainsworth are also locked in for next season, while Perth re-signed emerging swing bowler Ebony Hoskin for another two seasons after a breakout seven wickets in her first season for the club last summer.

Off contract: Kate Pelle, Kate Peterson, Sarah Bryce (Scotland/associate rookie)

WBBL|11 Draft selections: Amelia Kerr (New Zealand, pre-signing), Sophia Dunkley (England), Mady Villiers (England)

The Sixers sprang a bit of a surprise at the draft, overlooking Sophie Ecclestone with the No.1 pick in favour of Sophia Dunkley. Instead, they looked to address their batting - the area where the Sixers struggled the most last season with Alyssa Healy missing the majority of the season with foot and knee injuries and other players out of form. Dunkley has been in cracking form over the last six months and will add plenty of firepower at the top of the order. Fellow English draftee Mady Villiers will also add batting depth and another spin option with the ball.

In other good news, exciting teenager Caoimhe Bray is locked away long term, Melie Kerr is on a multi-year deal, and Ellyse Perry has committed her long-term future to the club, with the 34-year-old signing a fresh three-year deal.

The club has also locked away 20-year-old young gun Elsa Hunter who played five games as a replacement player last season and impressed for NSW in the WNCL where she hit 93 against reigning champions Tasmania in December.

Ellyse Perry's hot form continues with 86 in Hobart

Ins: Laura Harris (Heat), Hasrat Gill (Stars), Em Arlott Outs:  Georgia Adams, Sammy-Jo Johnson (retired)

Off contract: Saskia Horley, Claire Moore

WBBL|11 Draft selections: Shabnim Ismail (South Africa), Heather Knight (England) Chamari Athapaththu (Sri Lanka, pre-signing)

The Thunder were the big movers in the player movement period, signing powerful batter Laura Harris from the Heat and exciting young spinner Hasrat Gill from the Stars. Their additions only strengthen an already imposing list, with their talented local core locked away and Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu on a multi-year contract.

At the draft, they retained Heather Knight early on and were fortunate enough to snap up Shabnim Ismail when she remained available in the later rounds, ensuring they'll have the same three internationals as last season. The retention of Ismail was particularly crucial, following the retirement of Sammy-Jo Johnson.

They have also re-signed Australia U19 representatives Ella Briscoe and Sienna Eve, and brought in English pace allrounder Em Arlott.
