Player Story
Ella Wilson is a talented South Australian allrounder who bowls fast, is a clean hitter of the ball and an excellent fielder.
Wilson struck her maiden First-Grade half-century for Glenelg as a 15-year-old and won the Shelley Nitschke Medal as the most outstanding player of SACA’s T20 Cup the following summer.
The right-arm pace bowler was captain of South Australia’s Under 19 squad at the 2022 National Championships which earned her a spot in Australia’s side for the Under 19 World Cup in South Africa.
Wilson made her SA Scorpions debut at the end of the 2022-23 season, staying in the side for the WNCL Final.
She was part of the Strikers’ WBBL|08 and |09 championship winning squads.
