Nilkashi De Silva is a handy bowling allrounder who made her T20I debut against West Indies in March 2013. Within a year, she was representing her nation at the World Twenty20 tournament, going onto register an impressive bowling performance of 2-14 against Pakistan.
The slow-medium bowler made her ODI debut against New Zealand in November 2015.
2018 was a standout year for de Silva as she managed to pick up 7 wickets at the 2018 Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup, making her Sri Lanka's leading wicket-taker.
