A player tipped for big things for some time, Hogan has the ability to bat time and occupy the crease. This was showcased when he put together 92 from 246 deliveries in a U19 Youth Test for Australia against India in 2025.
Hogan represented the Australia U19s in 2024 against India, where he was the youngest member of the team and made 104 in a one dayer while batting at No. 4.
In 2024, Hogan played for the Queensland U17 team, where he scored three centuries among his 417 runs, and was deservedly named Player of Championships. These performances earned him a place in the U17 Australia team while playing first grade for Sandgate-Redcliffe in the Queensland premier competition.
A classy right hander, Hogan opened his 2026 U19 World Cup campaign with a composed 115 from 111 balls in Australia’s first match against Ireland.
