Lilli Hamilton became Queensland's first Fire rookie player aged 17 in 2025-26 under revised squad contracting guidelines.
The right-arm off-spinner made her WNCL debut for Queensland during the 2024-25 summer, after also tasting the action in the inaugural T20 Spring Challenge under the Brisbane Heat banner.
Hamilton, who started playing cricket at the age of seven in Toowoomba, was named in the Team of the Championship at the National Under-19 titles in 2024-25, taking 14 wickets for Queensland. While they share a surname, she is no relation to her Queensland teammate Lucy Hamilton.
