Asad Shafiq will pad up for his second ICC Cricket World Cup in 2015 after playing four matches at the 2011 tournament.
The middle-order batsman broke into the Pakistan one-day team in June 2010 and did not take long to settle into the side, scoring a fifty in his first match.
His Test call-up soon followed and Shafiq was impressive on debut, scoring 61 against South Africa.
Shafiq has been a regular member of the Test side since and returned to the ODI team in October 2014, where a fifty against Australia helped boost his World Cup credentials.
