Bio

Adil Rashid is an important member of the England limited-overs teams, with the leg-spinning Yorkshireman showing good sings in ODIs and T20Is.

Born in England with a Pakistani background, Rashid made his T20I debut in 2009 against the Netherlands. However it was in 2015 where the right-arm spinner made his Test debut, taking a five-wicket haul against the very nation his family were from.

Australian cricket fans will remember Rashid’s superb bowling for Adelaide Strikers in BBL|05, finishing the regular season in second spot on the Official Bowler Rankings under the guidance of Yorkshire coach Jason Gillespie.
