Player Story
An off-spinner and handy lower-order batsman, Andrew McBrine played his first game for Ireland in May 2013 against Scotland.
His first one-day international match came against the same opposition a year later, when he took 2-38 against Scotland in Dublin.
McBrine was then included in the squad which travelled to Australia, New Zealand and Dubai in preparation for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. During that tour, McBrine shone against New Zealand A in Dubai, taking 2-38 and scoring an unbeaten 43.
