Since making his one-day international debut in January 2013, Kusal Perera has made more than 100 appearances from all formats for Sri Lanka.

The left-handed batsman has earned a reputation as a quick scorer who hits the ball hard and has a strike rate above 89 in ODI cricket.

Perera has one Test and three ODI tons to his name, while in first-class cricket he once rocketed to 330 from 270 balls.

Perera can also be used as a back-up wicketkeeper and has performed the role in the past.
