Auckland-born Maddy Green made her international debut in a T20I against Australia in 2012, aged 19.

She first gained global attention during her whirlwind 62-ball century in New Zealand's record total of 490 for 4 against Ireland in 2018. In the WODI, she went on to smash 121 off 77 balls in a record 346-run win.

The allrounder was also called up to represent New Zealand in the 2018 T20 World Cup hosted by the West Indies.
