Player Story

Tara Wheeler was Wynnum-Manly junior who now plays for the Gold Coast Dolphins in the Katherine Raymont Shield where she has captained the team.

Wheeler was a member of the Queensland Cricket Junior programs from the Under 12s all the way up to the Under 18s and represented Queensland in both the 15s and 18s.

Wheeler was originally chosen in the Queensland Fire squad that was set to take on South Australia in January 2022 before the game was postponed due to COVID-19 concerns, before making her WNCL debut against South Australia at North Sydney Oval in March 2022.
