Player Story
Tryon made her international debut in a T20I against West Indies in May 2010. In the very first delivery she bowled, she dismissed Stafanie Taylor, thereby marking a unique world record.
In August 2016, Tryon was involved in a mammoth 142-run stand with Sune Luus for the sixth wicket. She went onto smash 92 off just 68 balls in the ODI.
The allrounder has remained a mainstay in South Africa's line-up, proving a key weapon with bat and ball.
She has also been a valuable player for various WBBL clubs. She started out at Hobart Hurricanes in 2019-20, before stints with Sydney Thunder and Sydney Sixers.
In 2024 she came full circle when she was drafted by the Hurricanes for WBBL|10.
