Player Story
After success on the Victorian Premier cricket scene with Melbourne CC, Kieren Elliott found himself stuck behind the state quicks which prompted a move to Tasmania in order to get a crack at higher honours.
Elliott dominated his first season with Clarence District CC in 2023-24, which resulted in two Sheffield Shield matches at the end of the summer. The tall quick was rewarded with a state contract for the 2024-25 season with the Tigers.
After being restricted to just four Sheffield Shield appearances for Tasmania in the 2025-26 season in a strong bowling group that yielded him 10 wickets at 38.60, capped by a career-best haul of 6-23 against eventual champions South Australia in February, Elliott made the move to join Western Australia in 2026-27 on a two-year deal.
