A tall quick who featured in the South Australian pathways system, Hanno Jacobs generates considering bounce and pace at the bowling crease.
A move to Canberra for his studies saw him represent ACT and eventually New South Wales in the Second XI competition, which led to a NSW debut after several years of impressive performances.
He played two Sheffield Shield matches for the Blues and a match for the Prime Minister's XI against India in 2024-25, before South Australia came calling and signed Jacobs on a three-year deal.
