A left armer who can swing the ball both ways, Marco Jansen also stands at over 2m tall.
Jansen was only 21 when he made his Test debut and had his first Test five-wicket haul less than a year later when he claimed 5-35 against England at the Oval.
In late 2024 he took a barely believable 7-13 against Sri Lanka in Durban as the visitors were bowled out for 42.
Jansen is an all-format player for South Africa and is more than handy with the bat too, with multiple half-centuries already under his belt.
