Kagiso Rabada made his Proteas debut in a T20I against Australia in Adelaide at just 19.
Rabada was one of the stars of the South Africa team who won their maiden ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2014, claiming 6-25 in the semi-final against Australia in a man-of-the-match performance.
The fast bowler made his first class debut in March 2014 and the selectors were quickly impressed, granting him a Test debut in 2015.
Adapting quickly to the highest level, Rabada took a seven-wicket haul in the first-innings against England at Centurion in just his fifth Test.
In his first Test series against Australia, the spearhead took 11-150 in the Gqeberha Test as South Africa won the match and levelled the series.
In 2024, Rabada became just the sixth South African to take 300 Test wickets, all while maintaining a strike rate below 40 and an average below 23.
