Fast bowler Courtney Sippel debuted for the Brisbane Heat in WBBL|05 and Queensland in 2021.
With a few years' experience now under her belt, Sippel went from strength to strength, selected for Australia A honours on more than one occasion while she capped off the 2023 summer when she was named the ‘Betty Wilson Young Cricketer’ at the Australian Cricket Awards.
In 2024, she made a bold call on her WBBL future, signing with the Sydney Sixers for WBBL|10. A year later, she departed Queensland to take up a state contract with Tasmania.
