A fast-bowling allrounder, Will Salzmann was part of the Australian side that finished third at the 2022 Under-19 World Cup, taking 12 wickets in six games, the most of any Aussie.
In the 2023-24 summer, Salzmann had his first real crack at state cricket and impressed with the white ball, taking 13 wickets in only five One-Day Cup games, at a stunning average of 14.76. But just one match the following season in all formats stalled his progression.
