Player Story
Born in Queensland and raised in New South Wales, Liam Scott made the call to join South Australia in order to make his mark in domestic cricket. It proved to be an excellent decision as he first enjoyed a breakout season in 2024-25, named as the One-Day Cup's player of the tournament and playing in the Sheffield Shield win during South Australia's drought-breaking triumph in both competitions.
Australia A representation soon followed, and another outstanding summer in 2025-26 saw him named the Sheffield Shield's player of the season as he helped his state to back-to-back Shield titles.
His first senior Australia call-up came in the ODI squad to tour Pakistan for three ODI matches in winter 2026.
