Even after playing just a handful of international games, it was evident Sam Billings was a shot maker who wasn’t afraid to take on a bowling attack.

The middle-order batsman made his debut for England against New Zealand in an ODI at Edgbaston in 2015. Scores of 41 and 53 were highlights for the Kent batsman that year, before he was selected for the 2016 World T20 squad in India.
 
Billings also debuted for England in T20 cricket in 2016, making 53 in his third innings.
